Brighton Digital Festival
Brighton Digital Festival, now in its sixth year, is a month-long celebration of digital culture, which takes place across Brighton and Hove from 1 to 27 September 2015.
The Festival receives funding through Arts Council England and Brighton and Hove City Council. It is run by members of Brighton’s digital and arts communities, administered through Wired Sussex. Events include exhibitions, performances, conferences, meet-ups, workshops and outdoor events, which run alongside some of Brighton's iconic digital design conferences.
Brighton Digital Festival is supported by EDF Energy - the Premier Sponsor of the 2015 Brighton Digital Festival. Additional support has been provided by sponsors including Brandwatch and Brilliant Noise.
The Brighton Digital Festival is steered by a festival consortium, which is made up of volunteers from Brighton-based digital businesses and cultural organisations, including Clearleft, Lighthouse, Fabrica, South East Dance, Fugu, Brighton Museum and Art Gallery, Brighton Mini Maker Faire, The Skiff, Brilliant Noise, Brandwatch, Wired Sussex, The University of Brighton, and Brighton Dome. Coverage and support is provided through the festival’s local media partner, The Brighton & Hove Independent.
